About: Freedom Account Verification

Overview

To protect your account from fraud, you will be required to complete account verification when accessing your account to complete any of the following tasks:

My Account Verification

Youll need to complete 2-factor authentication (2FA) each time you access your online My Account. This will involve using your 4-digit Freedom PIN number and a uniquely generated six (6) digit security code that well send to your phone number or email address on record.

In-Store Verification

When you visit us in-store, please make sure to bring a government issued photo ID as account changes in-store are only accessible to account holders and authorized users.

Our representatives will then send a unique security code to your phone number or email address of record. You will need to provide this code to our in-store representative before we can access your account, provide any information, and/or complete any transactions.

Important: Do not share this code with anyone other than the in-store representative assisting you.

Customer Care Verification

When contacting us for support, you will need to provide our agents with:

  • Your account information including your name, phone number and account number.

  • Your 4-digit Freedom PIN number.

If you would like to make any changes to your account, you will need to complete an additional level of verification. Our agent will send a unique security code to your phone number or email address on record that you will need to provide before we can make any changes to the account.

Important: We only use 2FA codes to verify your account when you contact us. We will never request codes when we call you.
